How many carbs can you save? Here are 5 low carb meal ideas for those on a “carb-budget”. Turn your favourite recipes into a delicious low carb meal in minutes! I’d like to add that if I’m having a low carb meal, it will usually be high protein so these meals have a significant amount of protein!

1. Tuna Lettuce Wraps

These are super easy to make, all you need to do is replace the bread with a piece of lettuce and voila!

Saving approximately: 30g carbs

2. Taco Salad

Everything you would put in a taco, minus the taco shell! If your really missing the crunch factor, crush a few whole grain nacho chips on top of your salad.

Saving approximately: 15g carbs/per shell

3. Zucchini Noodle Pasta

Unlimited pasta? That’s a reality with these zucchini noodles! Cook your pasta dish as you would regularly, just replace the starchy pasta with zucchini noodles.

4. Cauliflower “Rice”

Rice is a great carb, but when and if it doesn’t fit your macros you can make your own “rice” using cauliflower! Enjoy all your favorite rice dishes without the carbs!
